A LITTLE ABOUT US
Tinnell Memorial Sports Park is a skateboard and bmx park being built in beautiful Lake Havasu City, Arizona. It will be Arizona's largest skate/bmx park at around 40,000 sq ft. It will be located across from the Aquatic Center.
The park is being built in memory of Patrick Tinnell, a local bmx enthusiast who gave his life for his country in Iraq in April 2006. Additionally, the park will also honor Colin Sasseen, a 14 year old Lake Havasu native who lost his life doing what he loved...skateboarding.
We have contracted with some huge names for the design and build. California Skate Parks is going to do the construction, and award winning park and x-games designer, Brian Harper, engineered a stunning park for us.
We need about $1,000,000.00 to make this dream happen and so far we have about 1/3 of that. So take a look at the site, see what's new, get involved, donate -- be a part of something worthwhile for our community.
